If hockey realism is your goal, this isn't it. At the time of this review, Hockey Canada is under investigation, there's court cases about abuse, mindless violence is considered 'part of the game' .. and therefore largely tolerated.
These characters seem fresh. The acting is lovely... and the theme of homeschooling casts a fresh angle on family and personal life.
