I don't care what anyone says it is not a film.
It is a recording of a Broadway Musical.
It is filmed in 2016 but did not come out until 2020 ??????????????????
What it took four years to put the finishing touches to it?
School plays in the 90s were Avaliable to the class one week after production.
It's too long.
It reeks of 2020 entertainment. We're locked in, this will do. It combines the two major news stories of 2020 unintentionally and I believe that is why it is rated so highly.
When you start to Google the most obvious historical inaccuracies. The Internet start accusing you of being stupid.
Ooh it's so clever. American then, America now blah blah blah.
The music is bland and there is nothing edge about the music.
The main character for me comes across as arogant and it is very difficult for me to buy into him.
Some of the other characters do show charisma and this is what saves the show I accept that it takes skill to learn all the lines and routines.
Maybe I just don't get (we call it Theatre in the UK) but I'm trying to make my way through the IMDB top 250 and not the Broadway top 250
