Aged Well, Thought Provoking, But Does Have Some Flaws.

It's thought provoking, beautiful, and ages well. But it does have its flaws.

I thought the first half of the film was much better, as Vincent is trying over come the barriers the world has for him, and as he is trying to get his new identity, and ideas about that world are explored. My problem with the world is that it only focuses on one futuristic aspect, which is the designer babies. Which is an excellent topic to talk about, but I wish it would have covered if everyone had access to designer babies? Was that a rich/poor thing? What else happens in the future?

It also then gets too wrapped up in a murder plot, which has holes. Which I find personally much less interesting than the other points of the film. Like if you checked a bag full of cups, like they did in the film. There would be cross contamination. There was lots of little details like that.

I thought it was shot beautifully, and I love that at the core it was someone chasing an impossible dream, and beating all the odds. I thought this was another aspect much more interesting than when it was stuck on the murder plot.

It's overall still worth a watch, and it's interesting to bring up as a discussion point.
