2022's Lightyear brought me back to my childhood stomping grounds - finding this series wasn't easy (release it on Disney+, Disney!), but wow was it worth it. With quick, snappy humour, a talented voice cast, and a surprising amount of and adherence to world building, the early 2000s Buzz Lightyear series is probably a lot better than it should be. The show lacks a hint of pessimism - doesn't feel quite at place in 2022 - but feels just right in a post-pandemic world with just a bit too much of that. To infinity, and beyond!
