What's Missing here is a good episode

Warning: Spoilers
This episode would have been passible if not for the titular Granny character. I hate these types of characters. Not old people. But characters who act so squeaky clean and use really old and out-dated slang terms, that you just want to tell them, "I don't care how old you are, or how mature you think you are. Grow the hell up!". Plus this probably the only Monk episode I can think of where there isn't a single murder. It's just a lame kidnapping scheme where a couple of greedy antique dealers steal a chair that supposedly belonged to Thomas Jefferson, and they frame a old hippie radical gang, that leads to nothing. Also there is an incident involving Monk in a library and he almost gets crushed by some book case. How does any of that connect to the case. All in all this episode was bad. And such a waste, because I like Rachel Dratch, and I don't know that many dramatic roles she's done, besides comedy. All in all just a bad episode.
