I lost count how many times I have watched this hilarious sports comedy film with a cast of characters that leaves its audience wanting more and more of the same which is why there was a Major league 2 & 3 film(s). This is light humor void of any racism, sexism, guns and violence. It's a throwback to what theaters would show back in the 1960s and 1970s and at the drive-in theaters to just allow the audience to laugh and giggle and have something to talk about with fond memories for years to come.
There is not one standout actor/actress as the entire cast is deserving of high praise, as are the writers, director and producers. Mrs. Shullivan and I watched the film for the umpteenth time and it is still a refreshing piece of comedy and historical significance.
I give this comedy classic a much deserving 9 out of 10 IMDb rating.
