Two good stories and one terrible one.

Three short films all starring Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni. They all deal with sexual and social issues in Italy in 1963.

The first has them playing a married couple with kids. She will be sent to jail for not paying for furniture she purchased. However they can't send her to jail if she's pregnant. So she keeps getting pregnant to avoid jail time but it's wiping out her husband! Amusing and cute but a little too long.

The second has her playing an unhappily married but rich woman who has Mastroianni as a lover. It's short and pretty bad. Easily the worst of the bunch.

The last is easily the best with her playing a high-class prostitute and Mastroianni playing her frantic lover. VERY funny with the infamous sequence where Loren does a slow striptease while Mastroianni watches in pleasure.

This won the 1964 Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards. It's light and amusing and the two stars play off each other beautifully. It's a bit overrated and nowhere near as shocking as it once was but it's still well worth seeing. Loren has never been sexier!
