I'm fascinated by the late 19th and early 20th century. There was an explosion of discoveries during this time. Copenhagen was the birth city for Quantum Mechanics and the location of a mysterious meeting of two great minds during WW2, so I had to watch this film.
The main character reminded of real life engineer and inventor Nicola Tesla. Tesla was a brilliant man with a large ego and a womanizer who also died alone and broke; I wonder if the author was somewhat influenced by Tesla's life.
