Moon Knight (2022)
Want to point out

Warning: Spoilers
I've see a lot of reviews saying that Steven Grant's (Oscar Isaac's) English accent is terrible. As an English guy I can say it's not too bad, granted not amazing though. What I want to point out is that Steven is not the original personality of the character and instead a personality that developed later through his dissociative identity disorder - Marc Specter is the original personality who is mentioned and referenced a lot in the first episode. Marc is an American mercenary (sorry if that was a spoiler but it was mentioned in the episode) so when he switches to Steven the body does have to put on an English accent so it does to be fair make sense it wouldn't be perfect. That and it's an American show so they would be less likely to pick up on that.

I've also seen a bunch of reviews saying nothing was really explained or revealed in the first episode and people are giving 1 star based off of this. Obviously some people like different things but I think this is unfair as the whole point is that we don't know what is going and so we find things out as Steven Grant does- there's supposed to be an element of confusion and mystery to reflect his DID. Plus it's also the first episode so you can hardly expect them to reveal everything and introduce all of his identities in one hour long episode, there would be no time to build up their characters and it would be shallow.

All in all I think people are focussing on the wrong parts of the show when reviewing it and need to allow the story to be told and things to be understood in time first rather than expecting everything to be handed to you on the first plate you are served, as so to speak.
