Very enjoyable and somewhat disturbing movie that looks like a TV film. Released two years before the Iconic Halloween movie you can certainly see a similarity between the two releases. What makes this even more frightening in some instances is that it's based on real events. The cast are very good, especially Ben Johnson as the leader of the investigation. I see they have made a sequel, haven't seen it but I doubt it'll be as good as this forgotten gem.
