From the cover poster alone, one can already assume that various comedic antic will ensue throughout this film, but truly this film is so much more.
The spectacular star studded South Korean cast offers so many different personalities to embrace and enjoy, while making the plot of the film fly by within the roughly 2 hours that it is. From the main cast down to the high school students and the judges at the Fashion King competition, they each bring an energy to the movie that makes it so entertaining.
Enough about the characters though, lets get into the FASHION!
Some might find a few of the outfits and styles that come out of this film to be laughable....but that's the whole point! The manhwa that this movie is based off of is drawn in a very comedic style, with tinges of seriousness embedded within. For them to pull this off they couldn't just bring the characters to life through phenomenal actors, but bring the quirky slash semi-unrealistic fashion to life as well. Which in my opinion made it all the more enjoyable
This movie was not received as well or given as much attention at the time of it's release due to a drama of similar name but different plot being released around the same time, but boy did it stand true for me.
Its not a big blockbuster made to win awards, it was a wholesome, heartfelt, underdog story with some artistic flare that deserves much more appreciation than it has received.
