Zombeavers knows exactly what it is and has just the right amount of self awareness and stupidity to be great shlocky fun that thankfully understands it's silly premise and never overstays it's welcome.
Cortney Palm, Rachel Melvin, Lexi Atkins, Hutch Dano and Rex Linn all know exactly what kind film they are in and are therefore able to deliver the perfect performances for this movie.
Jordan Rubin's direction is fantastic, deliberately leaning into the cheap and tacky nature rather than trying to hide it. The music by Al and Joe Kaplan is excellent, extremely retro and bombastic.
