When you use a real case, try to get the facts right.

Oh boy, investigating the Wallace murder copy cat.

From a famous English murder case. Seems a shame they couldn't use the complexity of the real case in this version. Yes the husband was convicted, mentioned so many times during the film, in Liverpool by the way. But he was also the very first convicted murderer who had his conviction over turned by the court of appeal. Why Scotland Yard got so many mentions I'm not entirely sure, when the case was investigated by the City of Liverpool police.

Of course a US murder mystery based on real murders just has to mention Lizzie Borden. Oh dear.
