What The Hell?
24 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not used to writing reviews. But I had to say something about this sad attempt at horror.

Repetitious. Weak. Slow. Filled with tired cliches and embarrassing attempts at jumpers. The use of the dead serial killer ghost story is stretching it even for horror films. The attempt at continuity with the story by using the same "move a chair" motif comes across as being repetitious and boring.

The movie tries to build a storyline that will keep the interest of the viewer. Am I interested? I'm writing this review while the movie is playing on my tablet. Not interested at all.

The screenwriter preaches the importance of grace and love, suggesting to the detective who is investigating the murders that she needs to forgive the ghost so he can find peace and move on to the afterlife. I thought that this was corny and weak, mostly because of the way they presented it. Maybe if the movie was more gory and actually had a scary ghost it could pass as a cult gore-fest.

Overall, I rate this movie as disappointing and totally not worth the time it takes to read this review.
