For a movie that deals with something as harrowing as a missing child, I sure found it hard to get invested in this. The story drags, Nic Cage seems like he's on autopilot, the special effects are dodgy, and the whole thing just felt like a half hearted love letter to NYC. Everything here is stuff we've seen done better a million times before.
