You really wanna wipe your mouth after Strasburg's "performance"
20 February 2022
Susan Strasberg is cringeworthy awful from the opening credits to The End! The entire film is nonsensical and farcical. Strasburg's character waltzes into the office of supposedly the most influential Broadway producer's office and "entitles" herself with a respected actor, a famed writer and a flamboyant "Margo Channing" type actress and the film goes down hill from there hitting every jagged branch! The notion of a romantic relationship between Strasburg's character and the producer played by Henry Fonda who looks like her grandfather is laughable. The only bright spot is Herbert Marshall who always delivers, no matter the role.
