Eulogy For A "Friend"...
1 February 2022
So, at around ten minutes in, that is EXACTLY what happens "IRL"... If Rick James had ever needed it, I'm pretty sure his words would've been "Narcan (naloxone) is a helluva drug". I was an EMT when it was first approved and let me tell ya, it has saved MANY lives that would have been goners before its introduction. Plus, it's fun to give... Except when they come up swingin'! (like this character does) but we sort of expect that and, although we cannot "restrain" a patient without a doctor's order, we can 'secure them for transport' (which is far better than the wrist straps in the hospital setting).

I'm pretty sure those who rate this episode below a nine haven't done enough drugs.

Other things that occurred to me (apologies to the Grateful Dead) At ~32 minutes in, Jennifer Morrison has never shown her beauty as well as in this scene! Brava!

Around 35:00 in, the delectable Sela Ward has never looked so haggard, and I'm sure that's what they were going for. Also, Amber Tamblyn, looking haggard, but not so much for effect.

So no spoiler here, but I hope they somehow resurrect this series.

Ten out of ten.
