This movie was not great. That much is fairly certain. Why do Australian filmmakers insist on using the American accents? I find it infuriating that there is this attitude that if it doesn't feature Aussie actors doing fairly weak American accents, it's not a real film! The same can be found in many genre movies locally produced in Aus. Example "Love of my Life 2013." Shot in Sydney with a very Australian cast. All American accents except for Peter O'Brien who chose not to and good for him! We should be proud that monsters lurk in the darkness down under too!
