Review of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

Now I don't much like musicals and did not expect much from a web-series as short as Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. But despite the simplicity of the plot and the cheesiness of the characters, I enjoyed it greatly. The plot made for a poignant parody, the acting was splendid, the musical numbers were charming, the humour was both subtle and overt and often dark, and the sci-fi elements were the icing on the cake. These qualities more than adequately recompensed for the low-budget production quality.

If you enjoy a swift light-hearted musical dive, you'd enjoy this creative recounting of the tale of Dr. Horrible, Captain Hammer and Penny (with a Moist cameo).
