The concept of living in such isolation was much more interesting than the plot. I lost patience with the patronizing attitude of the lead detective and when she and her underling wind up in bed I felt the writers went off the rails. The motive for the killings seemed ridiculous, as was the dialogue where the police discuss the investigation. The woman police officer who did a lot of the forensic work seemed way too cheery all through the series. All in all, a misfire.
