Shallow plot... Disappointing.

Warning: Spoilers
There's a bunch of high school dramas out there. And this show feels like a complications of all those dramas. It turned out to be cliché, a bunch of expected plots. At least make some difference if it is meant to stand out among this kind of trope.

The biggest problem of this show is it failed to continue the stakes it had been building up since the first episode. It feels incomplete and at some point in the show, the writers just decided to throw everything and made a complete different storyline.

Maxpein and Deib are cute couple. Maxpein's Dad gave a wonderful wisdom, but that's it. This show feels like everyone around them are just displays. Displays that move whenever the writers just wants them to. Their friends have no depth. For example, Maxpein's friends kept teasing her for the guy that bullied her? They are romanticizing it because the guy is good looking? This show is for the youth and this is what you teach them?

Back to the "friends", they are just there for Max and Deib's romance to move forward. Nothing else. And it is not surprising that their friends will also end up together with each other. And please can they stop showing random moments that doesn't even make sense? Lee and Naih looks at each other, Tob and Michiko looks at each other, a little bit of slow-mo just to divert us from the main plot for a second. The shows expect people to care about this people around the main leads but don't give them time to actually be built up to realistic teenagers.

It is also so disappointing building up the "Alpha 3" in the beginning then viewers were not shown how they are the "Alpha 3" aside from their introduction. It shows that Deib is the only Alpha, and the other 2 were just there. I don't even understand why they are friends and why should I care about their friendships.

Most of the actings were great. But the story? Shallow plot... Disappointing.
