In this comedy a terrible amateur stuntman prepares to do a professional jump in order to raise money to get his stepfather a lifesaving operation so he can then beat him up to earn his respect. I know it sounds absurd and it is. Andy Samberg, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Ian McShane, and Will Arnett ham it up in "Hot Rod," the tale of a son trying to honor his father and save his stepfather.
