Dancing with the devil

Warning: Spoilers
At a run time of not quite two minutes, it will take longer to post this review than it did to watch the film. I caught this right after seeing another short by director Georges Méliès titled "Whimsical Illusions". Both share a vibrant, pastel flavored palette, with this one depicting a pair of devils or demons in a festive green color. Odd, in as much as one would expect them to be depicted in a bold red, a color saved for the bright burning flame that arises when the demons cast female victims into their large cauldron. They in turn transform into ghostly apparitions, lending a mystical and some would say, spooky touch to the story. It's not so much scary as whimsical as the name implies in his later work mentioned already. If you can catch them both, do so, as they won't take up too much of your time, and you'll be treated to a visual feast.
