Review of Kill the Irishman

I was expecting something better from this. Instead I got a story where the main character literally beats up everyone who stands in his way to move up in the world between unions and the mob. It is a rushed story mixed with original news footage of the era and a somewhat useless detective telling the story from his side. The actors are generally likeable by themselves but we just don't feel any intimacy between them. A movie that would have turned out better.
