It is a simple film, it is an 'empowerment movie' (which can go either way), and yes it does have questionable morals alongside a few moments of character inconsistency. However, I found all of that forgivable and the movie enjoyable.
Despite inevitable movie conveniences and inaccuracies I felt they had made enough effort to make the environments and themes believable. I grew up in similar environments and have relatable experiences. It's a typical modern content feeder movie, but one that doesn't leave you feeling entirely hollow as many do.
Just be prepared to forgive some of the dialogue.
