I've always been a fan of romantic comedies, but there is a spectrum to it. On one hand, you have absolutely cringe worthy rom coms like legally blond, which makes me just want to baulk, and on the other hand, you have a rom com that manages to stay dreamy without the cringe. This film is somewhere in between. It is a fine line. This film manages to get dreamy without being overly cringy. And for that, it is done beautifully with the stellar acting by Matthew and Kate. Either way, while this is a simple plot, the tried and true formula did not go wrong for this film and is a seriously decent movie, whether for the laughs or just a dose of that feel good feeling in your heart.
