Deep waters, deep story.

A sunken aircraft dating back to World War two causes some major problems in present day.

Piper Maru is a great episode, the show is definitely having another purple patch, there is so much quality here, great stories, great visuals, and a really bizarre, pretty obscure threat.

I like that It's not just another stand alone episode, and there is a pretty wonderful face from the past. Piper Maru is incredibly atmospheric, every single element is on point, the music, the lighting, the subtle acting, and of course the effects of those eyes, nightmare inducing. The curiosity here though, what is that oil all about?

I really did like the black and white shots, hugely atmospheric, and incredibly realistic looking, the producer did a terrific job.

After a pretty heavy start, it turns into a mind blowing episode, absolutely loved it, 10/10.
