Follow Me (2020)
A Movie You'll Think About for Days
2 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I'll be honest. I read spoilers before watching the movie. Since I knew the ending, I fast forwarded some boring parts. This one will stay with me for a while. Why did Cole's friends plan such a horrific prank on him? Did they not think it was going way too far and that he might snap? Why did they send the main 'bad guy' Alexei to tell Cole it was fake? This guy set everything up, so technically it was his fault Cole's friends were 'murdered'. Of course Cole is going to beat the crap out of the person responsible for the torture and death of his friends. You can tell the moment Cole has a mental break, when Thomas dies. He is NOT responsible for his actions in killing Alexei and would probably be able to plead temporary insanity. His ridiculous 'friends' should pay the price instead.

Ugh This movie will mess with you. I can't stop thinking about the ending. What Cole did was horrific, but understandable. By that time, he had snapped mentally. Who wouldn't, while watching all of their "friends" be tortured and murdered? Cole was probably thinking kill or he killed at that point. It's keeps replaying in my mind and I hate that. A better ending for me would've been if Cole had been aware of the prank all along. His friends thought they were so clever, but Cole finds out and pranks them by "killing" Alexei. Then when the friends come out to show Cole they are actually alive, they'd still get the shock of Him killing someone. But then he could be like, surprise! You think y'all could REALLY pull one over on me? Then Alexei, the double agent, hops up still alive. Sadly, that didn't happen and now Cole will have to live with that brutal act forever. No one in this group will ever be the same, that's for sure. And neither will I, for at least a couple weeks. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!
