Review of Loves Spell

Loves Spell (2020)
8/10
Homegrown urban romance/comedy at its finest.

Have to applause the writing and directing of this Brit movie. I didn't know what to expect, but the story, the comedic element (expected from Kane Brown, very entertaining comedian) and subtle suprises... very entertaining outing for Fredi Nwaka.

The loner in search for love is a story we've seen many times, but the character set up, addition of frequently seen London characters, the surprising room mate, over excited therapist and more make this a film that was enjoyable and watchable a few more times.

There aren't many self produced, written, directed movies on the Uk urban entertainment scene, and to place all of that on Fredi's shoulders, PLUS a supporting role throughout.... Applause. I look forward to watching more from Fredi and seeing his stable of entertaining movies hit the screened.

For an entertaining home grown and produced movie...
