The reviews were stellar for this thriller/horror so I had to watch The Unhealer, and I wasn't disappointed. It's a small movie with big themes and a killer supernatural spin. The powers that the lead character who's a bullied young high school student are unlike I've ever seen. Instead of superpowers that can whisk away enemies, these powers need to be used with finesse and manipulation of the intended target. A sort of bounce-back or reflective defense mechanism has possessed the misfit lead. When a prank by his nemeses turns deadly, the empowered hero gets revenge. Can't lose on this plot! Must watch.
