Back then in my teenage years, The Simpsons was as funny as it could be endearing and even heartwrenching. Lisa and Bart didn't over-hate each other, it seemed that lessons from previous seasons/episodes were built in naturally as the seasons went. Bart gives away his 500 hundred dollars in settlements against Krusty metal rings in his brand of cereal to Lisa so that she can buy something that is deeply important to her. Also, Lisa was at her best, smart, funny and also acted like a little girl still, which is a rarity in Simpsons episodes past season 9, she even kisses Bart after he had a life saving surgery cause by those cereals. The humor is tops, the jokes drop in as naturally as they can happen. After watching the blu-rays for season 17-18-19-20, going back to season 6 and this episode in particular made me realize the amazing writing that this show had, after season 9 it's still good, but I haven't seen many episodes past season 20, but I'm sure none are as good as 'Round Springfield.
