This series is based on a previous book & film(Christian F.) about very young heroin users in West Berlin in the late 70s. It is shocking & sad that this drug sends them into the deepest depravity. This series doesn't glam up heroin use but shows the fallout, death & degradation for all to see.
The soundtrack is incredible as is the acting & characterization. I don't know why this series is scoring low. I was taken on an emotional roller coaster ride & found it very compelling, if somewhat uncomfortable viewing. Highly recommended!
