Nicely done overall. Great blend of pathos and humor without becoming maudlin. Bit disappointed by JGL. Either his character is a tad underwritten and/or he just doesn't possess that extra leading-guy spark needed to get the film to the finish line. He's absolutely captivating in the scenes with Anna Kendrick., though. Certainly enough to make this worth seeing.
