If you'll forgive my obvious title, I went into this documentary hoping that myself, someone who is not a fan of snowboarding, could gain a greater appreciation for the sport or at least learn some more about the athletes. That did not happen. While the shots that were captured for this film are undeniably beautiful and the stunts depicted are incredible, this film really boils down to: go to Alaska and go down a mountain, go to Chile and go down a mountain, go to Buffalo and go down a mountain. At a certain point I did start to feel as if I was seeing the same thing over and over. I will aknowledge that I am not the intended audience for this film because it was not for me.
