VHS - is that something you have heard of? Or even dare I say used? The younger you are the more likely it is, you don't know what I'm talking about. I wouldn't say this has aged badly, but I can see how some would feel that way. And it is not just the VHS thing, but also the absence of cell phones (with cameras).
But does that really matter? If you nitpick and choose to be bothered by those things, than you have missed the point of the movie. Because this is about the Death Penalty and if it is something that should still exist. The movie has a clear view on this and really hammers that message into the viewer! It also has some interesting twists and a lot of great performances. I had seen this back when it was released but thought it was up for a rewatch. And while I know it is difficult for some to watch anything with Kevin Spacey nowadays, try to free your mind from any negative thoughts and come along for the ride.
