Warning: Spoilers
Season7, episode 1 should have been given a little more of an attention grabbing revelation than having one of the heads hooked by a fisherman in the bay. The medical examiner says that there is an entrance wound but no exit wound but the exit wound is the entire lower jaw blown out on one side. There couldn't have been a bullet still in the head unless Mick had shot the guy more than once. He didn't, btw. This is very lazy, careless writing.

The same carelessness was rampant in the last season finale. If you recall, the burial in Sandy's back yard was deep enough, and they had a dead racoon to plant for the methane probe to find, but Darryl just threw it in with the other bodies instead of burying it near the surface.

Also, last season, Mick stopped rinsing the garage floor while there was still a big pool of blood that needed to be washed down the floor drain. These writers are clumsy and careless and the director obviously doesn't care whether the viewers can suspend disbelief or not.

I'm more than a little disappointed so far. The nonsense with the shrink and with Terry's alternate medicine treatment just hijacks the storyline. It looks as though the writers are trying to make it up one episode at a time. We'll see as the season progresses, I suppose.
