Stargirl is a very decent movie. It can have some issues like a generic school story from the first half. And the characters need to work a little more on their development. But the movie can be redeemable with some moments that are touching, especially the relationship of Leo and Stargirl. I really liked how Stargirl helped Leo get through his senior year. The editing is nice even with the costume making Stargirl look colorful. And the soundtrack is enjoyable to listen to, especially when we gotten to the finale. As for my recommendation, this is a movie about a magic girl forming a friendship with a normal student. If this sounds good for you, this can be worth a watch. If not, you won't be missing much. This isn't a great movie, but I guess this is pretty decent.
