I thought I'd enjoy this film, that had no less than three of my favourite french actors, whom I've loved in Les Égares, La Belle Personne, The Dreamers etc. But no. This film is monotone, disengaging and feels numb. I didn't really get the chance to involve myself in any of the characters, the storytelling was flat and the chronology didn't make much sense to me. It was a struggle to watch the entire thing.
On the upside though, the acting was good, the visuals were pretty and, I assume, very interesting if you enjoy the 60s-70s fashion history.
