When Dreams Come True (1985 TV Movie)
4/10
Dull movie thriller, sadly it's truth
5 February 2021
I was very much short sheeted in every respect with this made for t.v drama, obviously done on a shoestring budget. It's almost unremarkable in every way. Cindy (Shirley) Williams, a museum tour guide, is having these disturbing, yet arousing dreams, about this handsome stranger (Morse), she runs into the hands of, as being followed. She's seeing the same person, locales, in real life, while being obsessively drawn to Morse, as being unfulfilled romantically by current partner, cop (hot Horsely), a faltering decision, as to whether, she should give cop, Horsely the flick. Now. things worsen, with William's dreaming of future girl victims in a spate of murders, which come true. and guess who the killer is- Duhh? The best thing about this film, is Morse and that's stretching it. It's a dull, poorly written movie with hardly any constructive thriller elements, or tense solid, plotting, joining film thrillers, like the much lazy written, Somebody Killed Her Husband, which was at least fun, cause of it's two mains. You're be left quite despondent with the poor effort, a great premise, which could of been so much more. Why Williams, is dreaming about these, soon to be victims, is totally absurd, and unbelievable, which just heightened that disappointment. Lets hope this movie never comes true in real life.
