The most explosive film ever
29 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A fun follow-up by Enzo G. Castellari to his BRONX WARRIORS, set ten years after the first film although the setting is still the same and Mark Gregory doesn't appear to have aged a day as Trash. This time around he's fighting a pitched battle with exterminator Henry Silva, whose silver-clad goons run around shooting and torching everybody still unlucky enough to live in the Bronx. There's very little plot here, even less than in the first film, just one outlandish action scene after another. Castellari is in his element with the slow motion and seems addicted to blowing things up here: people, vehicles, buildings, you name it, there are more explosions than in a Michael Bay movie. It's pretty dumb as a result, but it sure is entertaining!
