I mean it is good for its time but as comparing between the two, the remake between the two, beats this one by 5 times. Looks like Indians gone crazy in this film. The remake actually looks like mutated humans, which is scarier than this film. I love the remake compared to this one. They are pretty much through scene for scene between the two, but the acting on this one is bad. I just can't get scared with this one compared to the remake.
Now the sequel of this one, that one is a real skip. I watched it, and it is no where near any of the series. Comedy is what the 1984 sequel is. The sequel of the remake is even to me better than this original. Sorry, for fans of Wes Craven, which I am, but this one and the sequel 1984, is just not the quality I would expect from Wes. The only good thing about this movie is Dee Wallace, and that is about it for me. She still even in this movie looks like in her 30s or 40s.
She does not really age well but looks good for her age, if you know what I mean. All I can say is that I can watch this on Blood Disgusting TV, but not keep it in my movie collection, because it is not that good to me.
