Review of Miss Scarlet & the Duke

In the midst of all that is scary and sad in the world and being at home due to covid, MIss Scarlet and the Duke is a nice absorbing respite. Good setting, costumes, script and cast. The show addresses modern issues but within the context of the period setting. It does not feel too anachronistic - the script and story respect the period.

BTW period piece fans might also enjoy older shows films such as Doctor Thorne with Tom Hollander and Under the Greenwood Tree with Keely Hawes
