No spoiler, just my impressions: the concept was cool but I didn't like how it was executed. Imho the message of the movie is to show us how, in that forest that is life, we usually end up failing because we indulge in our own flaws and such.
The forest setting and the semi historical premise could have been used in more interesting way tho. Even the characters were a bit bland. A somewhat missed opportunity
