I first saw this in the mid 90s on a vhs.
Revisited it recently.
The movie is boring, there is nothing scary or western about it.
An old wise man guide eight fellas to a sacred mountain to dig for gold cos all 8 of em share one thing, a desire for the gold. The gold diggers trespass on a sacred Indian burial ground n kill a native Indian thereby angering the ghosts that dwell in the area. Slowly, they all are tormented by the dead spirits n they all descend into madness.
U can't even call it a poor man's Treasure of Sierra Madre. The best western n horror genre mash up is Bone Tomahawk which again consist the same theme of a Native burial ground being trespassed n its aft effects.
I am generous with a 3 cos of Bari Buckner's boobs (she is credited as the screaming woman in the 1997 Lost World Jurassic Park). Tried searching if she did any other films but to no avail. Even the other actress Erin Noble has an attractive face. The whole time i was giggling at Christopher Boyer's bald head.
