After several changes with people, they have now settled on a format that works. Nearly everyone on the show is knowledgeable with football and provides insights into the background and current events in the game.
That being said they still tow the corporate line and will never criticize the NFL management and are well versed in putting on the best look for the game.
Sometimes they have segments done by actors, aka SNL scripts, and they are rarely funny and are just used as filler in my opinion. With some many games to review prior kickoffs on Sunday it's disappointing to see lame comedy sketches.
