The movie was just okay. It's very stripped down. The beginning is interesting when dealing with puberty in girls, and that's basically the theme of the movie. Nothing really happens, and feels anti climatic even though it has a beginning middle and end. I don't mind films that are dry, but I didn't think the characters here were interesting enough to carry a whole movie. It was also never made clear what exactly was going on with the boy. Was he assigned the wrong gender, or is he both?
