I learned more in the casual style of this show than I have in a long time from any show. Milk bar episode? Immediately made a better cookie after that. I learned so much about so many styles of cooking - I cannot wait until the next volume drops. I'm going to watch these a few times at least I'm sure. This next time around, I will be taking screen shots of some of the ingredients lists. Roy Choi is my new favorite chef and I've always enjoyed Jon Favreau's work - seen most of his movies and like them all.
After watching this show, I have zero worry that the ingredients lists don't give measurements on how to make the things. Just watching and seeing what they do is enough. And if it's not exactly the same - I've certainly learned that doesn't bother Roy Choi! lol
