A genuinely solid dark comedy, but not for the faint of heart

Warning: Spoilers
The guinea pig series, notorious worldwide for its extreme gore, in my opinion found its comedic footing with the second movie, "Flower Of Flesh And Blood", by including an extremely over exaggerated villain.

But, this movie, "He Never Dies" was a solid comedy throughout.

The basic premise is this : A working class man is ignored at work, is extremely lonely, and just gives up. He quits. But nobody notices he's gone. No calls on his phone. So, naturally, he becomes suicidally depressed.

First, he tries to slit his wrist. But, he doesn't die. So, he continues to cut deeper, but still... He doesn't die. He cuts so deep that his hand comes clean off but still, he doesn't die. But of course, the clue is in the name with this one.

What follows is a brutally gory, but heavily comedic movie, climaxing with disembowelment and finally a beheading.

This movie is definitely not for the squeamish or faint of heart, but I'd have to say that out of the first three movies, this one is the easiest to stomach.

So, if you're a fan of splatter movies, gorefests, et c and you want something to have a laugh with, I highly reccomend this movie.
