EXCELLENT BUDDY ACTION COMEDY!!!! A TRUE GEM
9 October 2020
This is one hilarious action comedy with the action king Scott Adkins using his own accent as Martial arts master who is down on his luck with his dojo costing too much to keep open & pressure from the local Asian Crime lord wanting to buy him out. Adkins as French is Living in Los Angeles & needs more money & quickly so he goes for a job as a Debt Collector where he meets the older more grizzled & tough but very charming wise-guy Sue, an excellent performance by another underrated B-movie great LOUIS MANDYLOR, the guy is such a great presence & is so funny while being serious & a smart-ass & he is partnered up with Adkins young, nervous but extremely talented Martial arts master French & the two go about their business with a list of people who owe money to their big boss Tommy & many hilarious & violent adventures fill-out this excellent movie.

The wise-cracking banter & hilarious chemistry that has heart is what keeps this flick so ridiculously entertaining & fun as French & Sue are a joy to watch on screen. This pair is so random but works perfectly & i mean perfectly, these two tough Debt Collector's are one of the best team ups ever put on screen in my opinion (up there with the best like MIB or Lethal Weapon) & the fact this is a low-budget DTV movie is astonishing!!! The quality of this movie is of the best, nothing feels or looks cheap at all & everyone puts in fantastic performances. The fight scenes are AMAZING as usual by the legendary Scott Adkins, the guy is the absolute king of the new generation of Action Cinema & the best out there putting out Awesome action dvds. Both Adkins & Mandylor are both excellent underrated actors but both shine in this Crime Comedy Caper that is genuinely hilarious, touching & so much fun. The Debt Collector is definitely one of Adkins best films & it's sequel The Debt Collector's aka: Payback is also fantastic too. I hope we get another film to make a Trilogy.

This is truly a GEM, one of the best DTV films I've ever seen. One hell of a great duo & one hell of a fun film.
