The good points. Cinematography and set designs. Really evokes Shanghai of the period. Acting mixed but Donnie is good and though he is pacing out his fights these days the end fight is very good.
The scipt is all over the place and has too many long stretches of dialogue and pointless sub plots. This is almost propoganda - the brave Chinese masses versus the corrupt west and hateful Japanese.
Enjoyed the setting and the final fight but you have to plod through a lot of nonsense to get there.
